I first heard about Oats Overnight in 2023. However, I didn’t try it then. I didn’t want to waste any money on it, just in case I didn’t like it. Oats Overnight is drinkable oatmeal. I know, that sounds gross, especially if you already don’t like oatmeal. I was one of those people who didn’t care much for oatmeal.
In July 2024, I kept seeing ads for Oats Overnight on my Instagram feed. I read some of the comments on the different ads that I saw. Many of the commenters said that they absolutely loved Oats Overnight and the many flavors that are offered. I finally decided to give Oats Overnight a try. I ordered a small box of 8 flavors - just in case I hated it and I didn’t want to waste too much money on it.
The flavors I ordered for the first box were:
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Dark Chocolate Sea Salt
Cinnamon Roll
Banana Bread
Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Cacao Crunch
Cookies & Cream
Boston Cream
Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie
I also received a test flavor (Eggnog) and a free shaker bottle in my first box. I decided to try the Cookies & Cream flavor first. You first put in 8 ounces of milk (or a milk substitute) into the shaker bottle. Then, you add the package of oats. You give it a good shake and put in the refrigerator overnight. I kept it in for about 8 hours. When you’re ready to have your oats, you give it another good shake.
I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! The Cookies & Cream tasted a lot like a milkshake. Well, a milkshake with chewable oats in it. I was very excited to try the rest of the flavors in the box.
It’s been nearly 2 months later and I’ve tried a lot of the flavors. So far, I’ve only found 3 flavors that I didn’t like (and couldn’t finish drinking): Piña Colada, Pumpkin Spice, and Chocolate Orange. My favorite flavors are: Cookies & Cream, Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Cacao Crunch, Bananas Foster, Green Apple Cinnamon, and Boston Cream.
I like that Oats Overnight has 20 grams of protein for most flavors (there’s just a couple of flavors that only have 10 grams of protein). Oats Overnight is also very easy to make. You just put the milk/milk substitute in, then the oats, shake it up, put in the fridge, wait overnight, shake it up again, and enjoy. It takes less than a minute to make!
The only thing I don’t like about Oats Overnight is the price. It’s very expensive. The 8 flavor box was $32. I like to get the 24 flavor box and it’s $78. You’re paying for the convenience. Someone has already done the hard work. I do wish it was cheaper, but I understand why it’s so expensive.
I highly recommend Oats Overnight, especially if you’re looking for a quick breakfast with no prep time.
